How to clear search history in Google Chrome

Objective / Info: Learn how to clear the search history that is stored in the Google Chrome web browser. Any toolbars you have installed may have separate search history that this process will not clear.

Launch Chrome by double left clicking the desktop icon.

Click on the wrench icon in the upper right hand corner.

Select "Options" from the menu.

Click the "Clear browsing history" checkbox and select the time frame of history you want to clear.

Select "Everything" if you want to remove all of your history.

Click the "Clear browsing data" button.

Click the close button.

Your browser search history should be cleared.Click in the address bar and press any key to check for any history.
  Note : If you selected any option other than "Everything" in step 6 above, you will still likely see some data in the history.
