How to view passwords stored in Chrome

Objective / Info: Chrome has the ability to store passwords that you give it permission to store. This guide will illustrate how to view those passwords.

Launch Chrome by double left clicking the desktop icon.

Click the wrench icon in the upper right hand corner.

Click "options".

Click the "Personal Stuff" option.

Click the "Manage Saved Passwords" button.

Each row should contain a url of the site where the username and password were saved previously.

Click the row that contains the url of the site where your previously saved password can be viewed. Then click the "Show" button.
  Note : The password should be shown where the asterisk are.

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
