Go to Messages.

Select name of person with desired text to be deleted.

Select and hold the text you choose to delete, until the "copy/more" options appear, then select "More".

Touch and check the circles to the left of each text you wish to delete, then select the trash image at the bottom left of the screen.

Select delete message.
