Objective / Info: Learn how to disable the automatic fill handle in the 2019 version of Microsoft Excel.

Open Excel by double left clicking the icon on the desktop or start menu, then open the document that you want to work on.

Click the "File" tab.

Click on "Options".

In the "Excel Options" dialog box click on "Advanced".

In the "Advanced" section, uncheck the "Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop" box, then click "OK".

Note : Make sure the "Alert before overwriting cells" box is checked to avoid replacing existing data.
