Open Word by double left clicking the icon on the desktop or start menu.

In the main menu, click on "Options" on the bottom-left.

In the "Word Options" box, click on "Proofing".

Under "AutoCorrect Options", click the "AutoCorrect Options" box.

In the AutoCorrect box, click on the "AutoFormat As You Type" tab.

Under "Replace as you type", uncheck the "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks" box.

Click "OK". Hyperlinks should now be disabled.
