This guide is part of the Google Analytics series

Make: Google

Model / Product: Analytics

Version: N/A

Objective / Info: Add an additional profile to an existing profile in Google Analytics. One reason to do this is to see data from an existing analytics profile but the data is presented differently(e.g filtered).

1
Visit www.google.com/analytics in your web browser. Log in by clicking the "Access Analytics" if needed.
2
Click the "Add Website Profile" link at the bottom of your list of sites.
3
Select the "Add a Profile for an existing domain" option.
4
Select the existing domain that you would like to add the additional profile for.
5
Enter a name for your additional profile.
Note : This name will appear on the list of sites in your analytics account. You should not see the domain listed twice.

6
Uncheck the "" box UNLESS you are using AdWords to advertise this site and you want the source data included. Click the "Finish" button.
7
The additional profile you just created should show on the list sites in your account beneath the same "Web Property ID" e.g. UA-123456-1
8
This task should be complete. Review the steps if you had any issues and try again. Submit questions or request for more guides in the questions section below.
