How to sign up for a HootSuite account

Objective / Info: Learn how to sign up for HootSuite and connect your Twitter account.

Visit Hootsuite.com and click the "Sign-up" button.

If you have an existing account with one of the options listed on the left hand side, then click it.
  Note : In this example we are using "Google"

Click the "Allow" button.

Click the "Create an account" button.

Click the "Stay Free" button.
  Note : You can upgrade at a later time if you like.

Click the "Add a Twitter profile" button.

Click the "Connect with Twitter" button.

Click the "Authorize app" button.

Click the X button to close the window.

You should be returned to the "home" tab which should display other options.

Click the tab containing your Twitter handle.

You should see the following columns of data for the Twitter account that you connected. "Home Feed", "Mentions", "Direct Message","Sent Tweets"

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
