Objective / Info: How to view the status of, activate and edit the auto save feature in Word 2010.

Open word by clicking the icon on the desktop of the start menu.

Click the "File" button in the upper left hand corner of the program.

Click the "Options" button on the list.

Click the "Save" button on the left hand menu.

Make sure that the check box has a check mark in it. Set the frequency in terms of minutes apart that you would like your word documents to be saved.
  Note : Click save after you have made the changes.
