Launch Chrome by double left clicking the icon on the desktop or start menu.

Click the wrench icon in the upper right hand corner of the browser.

Select "Option" from the drop down menu.

Look in the "Home Page" section.

Select the "Open this Homepage" option and type www.google.com into the field.

The next time a new tab is opened, www.google.com should be displayed.

  Note :You may have to close and reopen chrome.
