Objective / Info: Configure Internet Explorer 8 to show your home page when a new tab is opened.

Open Internet Explorer 8 by clicking the icon on the desktop or shortcut menu.

Click "tools" on the menu bar.

Click "Internet Options"

In the "Tabs" section, click the "Settings" button.

In the section labeled "when a new tab is Opened, open:", select "Your first home page" from drop down menu.

Click the "OK" button in the "Tabbed Browsing Settings" window, then click the "OK" button in the "Internet Options" window.

You should now see your home page when opening a new tab in your browser.
