Objective / Info: Learn how to clear the search history that is stored in the Internet Explorer 8 web browser. Any toolbars you have installed may have separate search history that this process will not clear.

Click the desktop icon or start menu icon to launch IE 8.

Click the "Safety" button.

Click "Delete Browsing History".

Select the "History" and "Form data" checkboxes.

Click the "Delete" button.

You may see a pop up indicating that the history is being deleted..

After a few seconds, depending upon the amount of data in the history the box should disappear. Click close.
