Look at your desktop for an icon with the title "PowerPoint" The version number may be included in the title.

  Note : In this example the version is PowerPoint 2007

If you still cant find a version number then open PowerPoint and click on the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner PowerPoint.

The version number should be displayed in the box that opens afterwords.

  Note : If you do not see this proceed to the next step.

Look in the lower right hand corner. If the status reads offline, you will need to change it to "Connected to Office Online."

Click the "Show Content from Office Online." option.

If you have an Internet connection, your status should change to "Connected to Office Online."
