Objective / Info: To show how to avoid replacing selected text when typing in Word 2013.

Click on Word icon to open.

Click file.

Click options.

From the "Word Options" box, click "Advanced".

In the "Editing Options" section, select, "Typing replaces selected text" (Uncheck, so that check box is empty).

Click OK, to accept change, and close dialog box.
