Objective / Info: Learn how to turn off the Automatic Numbered list in the 2019 version of Microsoft Word.

Open Word by double left clicking the icon on the desktop or start menu.

At the top, click on "File".

Then, at the bottom, click on "Options", which should make the "Word Options" box pop up.

Click on "Proofing".

Under "Auto Correct Options", click on the "Auto Corrections Options" button, which should make the "AutoCorrect" box pop up.

Click on "AutoFormat As You Type"; under "Apply As You Type", uncheck the "Automatic Numbered Lists" checkbox, then click "OK".

Note : Click "OK" again when returned to the "Word Options" box.
