How to lock a google plus post before sharing it

Objective / Info: Learn how to lock a post so that it cannot be shared by those that you shared it with before you share it. Previously you have to do this after sharing, now you can do it prior to sharing.

Locate the article or content that you want to share and press the Google Plus button.

Click the small grey arrow on the right hand side of the share pop up box.

Click the "Lock this post" option.Then click the "Share" button as you normally would.

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page
