Objective / Info: Make Google your homepage using the Apple Safari web browser.

Launch Safari by double left clicking the desktop icon.

Click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner.

Click the "Preferences" button in the drop down menu.

Locate the "Homepage" field on the pop pop up window.
  Note : This field should reflect the default homepage at apple.com

Click inside of the field and delete the text.

Type "http://www.google.com" into the field and click the red x button in the upper right hand corner of the pop up window.

You should see a confirmation pop up window. Click the "Change Home Page" button.

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
