Open the Comcast caller id client by double left clicking the icon on the desktop or the start menu.5
The second drop down menu controls the amount of time you will hear the caller id notification sound when you receive a call. Note :
You can select a different number of minutes if you want.

You can also insert you own image by selecting the "Browse" button and then selecting an image. Note :
This image is only shown to you not the caller.

You should press the "Apply'' button after making any changes using the previous steps in this guide.9
To make changes to the sound that is heard when a call is received, click the sounds tab on the side.10
There are three choices in regards to sound. Press the drop down menu next to the first option then change the sound. If a custom sound is desired, select option two and click the "browse" button to locate the sound file. In either of the first two options, the sound can be heard by pressing the "Preview" button to the right of the selected option.11
As stated in step 6, you should press the "Apply'' button after making any changes.This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.comments powered by Disqus
