Open your web browser and visit www.google.com

From the search results page, in the left column click the "Updates" link.
Note :
You may need to press the "More" link to reveal the "Update" link.

You should see a page that contains the latest twitter feeds on the left half of page (arrow 1) and popular google links in the right half of the page (arrow 2). Both of which should be relevant to your search term. There is also a click able timeline which show results based on that time frame (arrow 3).
Note :
The page will slide as it grows in length as new tweets are appended as they come in.

The second way to use real time search is to follow steps 1-2 above, then click the "Latest" link in the left column.

The third way to complete this task is to perform a search using google trends. Visit www.google.com/trends/7
Click on one of the links from the "Hot topics" section OR perform a search query using the search box beneath this same section.
