How to open search results in a new browser window

Objective / Info: Configure Google so that when you click on seach results, a new browser window opens.

Visit Google, by opening your web browser and visiting www.google.com.

Click the "Search Settings" link in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Scroll down until you see "Results Window Open search results in a new browser window"

Click the "Save Preferences" button in the lower right hand corner.

Click the "OK" button on the pop up box.

Now, a new browser window should open when any search results are clicked going forward.

  Note :Follow these same steps to turn off this feature. Also, deleting cookies may restore this feature to its default state of off.
