Click the start menu.

Click the "run" button.

Type "CMD" in the field and click "OK".
  Note : Do not include the quote marks when typing CMD.

Type the word "ipconfig/all" at the end of the first line of text. The cursor should be in place and you should be able to type without using your mouse.

  Note : Do not include the quote marks when typing ipconfig/all.

The results should be returned. They may not be identical to these but you should see a "Physical Address" which is your mac address.
  Note : This is the mac address of the computer that you are on now.

This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
