On the ipad, visit http://books.google.com/ebooks.
Note :
Safari or any web browser that is installed should work.

Click the iPhone,iPad, iPod Touch option.

Click the "Download app" button.

Click the "Free" button. Then click it again when it changes into an "Install" button.

Your should be taken back to the desktop as the application is installed.

The application installed is complete when the icon reads "Google Books".
