Launch Excel by clicking on the desktop icon.

Select the cell of the header where you want to make the text vertical.

Click the "format" button in the cells section of the menu.

Click the "format cells" option of the menu that appears.

  Note : A popup window will appear.

Select the Alignment tab.

Locate the little red diamond in the "orientation" section of the popup.

Click and drag the red diamond to the top of the box until it is completely vertical. Select OK.

The row that you previously selected in step 2, should now show all of the text in a vertical layout.
