Make: Apple

Model / Product: ipad

Version: 4.2

Objective / Info: Learn to take multiple items and place them into a single folder on the desktop of the ipad.

1
From the desktop of an ipad, decide which items you want to place into the folder.

2
Press and hold one of the icons that you want to add to the folder. The icons should all shake slightly and tilt.

3
Click and drag one of the icons on top of one of the another icons that you want to include in the folder. The icon you selected should become larger than the others.

4
Drag the icons on top of one of the another icons that you want to include in the folder.

Note : In this example, we are placing the You Tube icon on top of the Maps icon.

5
Release the icon and you should now have 1 folder that contains both the You tube and the Map icon with an exploded view beneath the icon showing a full size view of the folders contents.

Note : Our understanding is that you can add 20 icons or apps in a single folder and as many as four folders.

6
This task should now be complete. If not, review and repeat the steps as needed. Submit any questions using the section at the bottom of this page.
